Experienced / Lab Personnel

(1) PRODUCTION MANAGER:

Hands-on Lab Production Manager with a minimum of 10 years of optical lab experience for high volume labs generating 450 to 1500 jobs/day. In depth knowledge of all facets of operations in Surfacing Department and Bench Department, including: job flow in high volume lab; labor management; training; trouble shooting; computer logic, etc. Excellent leadership and people skills. Hands-on, production-oriented and management responsibilities including profit and loss. In depth ophthalmic theological knowledge and excellent customer communication skills.

(2) BENCH JOURNEY PERSON:

Highly skilled and knowledgeable in all facets of bench work including cutting and edging, hand-edging, mounting, adjustment, final checkout, meticulous craftsmanship, etc. Beautifully finished bench work is an utmost requirement for CSC Laboratories.

(3) SURFACING SUPERVISOR:

Candidates must have experience in a high volume Surfacing Department. Technical know-how in all phases of Surfacing operation is an absolute requirement. Analytical capability on all surface breakages. Essential qualifications include: thorough understanding of LOH and Schneider automated surfacing equipment, working knowledge of lens logic; Free-Form technology; and understand computer logic. Excellent leadership and people skills helpful. Maintain excellent job flow at lowest re-do ratio, and meet production quotas. MUST BE ABLE TO DO TROUBLE SHOOTING.

(4) BENCH SUPERVISOR:

1,600(±) Rx jobs per day. Location: Watsonville and/or San Jose in the beautiful, sunny State of California. Candidate must have experience working in a high volume lab operation. Must be able to train and supervise employees in all phases of Bench operation using excellent leadership and people skills. Essential qualifications include: thorough knowledge of automated tracing, edging and drilling equipment. Experience with Optronic edgers, MEI edgers, tracers, and Optidrill or similar equipment. Must be able to do hand edging and special techniques for difficult mounting. Candidate must also be able to professionally discuss technical issues with customers.
